Starvation Bay 1.

22.12.12 we left Albany and headed to Bremen Bay absolutely gorgeous!!! We took the unsealed road from Bremen Bay through the Fitzgerald National Park, we saw lots of Roo’s & Emu’s. Mount Baron was stunning and the beaches amazing!!! We arrived at Mason’s Bay to find it absolutely packed, (you’d think it was Christmas).  It was getting very late in the day by this time 4pm, so just typed nearest bush camp into the Navman and we went to Starvation Bay. How incredible this place is, bush camping at its best, the fishing is a fisher man’s dream, the swimming is awesome, the beaches to die for, the bush simply stunning!!! To top it off we meant a great family, Matt (Skipper), Denny, Jodie (5yrs) my new bestie and Mick (3yrs).Grandparents arrived the following day Rob & Di. A fantastic family that made us very welcome and a joy to be with!!

We were still setting up camp when the Skipper asked Steve if he would like to go out fishing tomorrow (Quentrex 610), Steve jumped in and said yes, then Matt told him they needed to be up at 4am!!! They had an excellent time fishing. (Photos attached).

We have had camp fires every night. Christmas day we went to the beach, had Turkey and Plum’s Plum Christmas pudding with Brady &Butterscotch sauce. (So Yummy).

Boxing day the Skipper got a crew together and off they went hunting & gathering!!! What a fantastic time they had, they were back early as they had their quoto!!!!
An excellent Christmas, Starvation Bay is definitely in the top 3 for camping spots!!
