The Pinnacles.
We had a little rain in the night. This morning was
really overcast and we went to see the Pinnacles. The Pinnacles Desert
Discovery is unique and spectacular, they are in the Namburg National park. Rising
mysteriously from the dune sands are thousands of limestone pillars, a
landscape in eerie contrast to the surrounding heath. Absolutely stunning, you see the Pinnacles on
many postcards etc. We didn’t realise you get to do a 4klm drive through them
as they cover a vast area. Magnificent, some of the pinnacles are up to 4
meters high. I had really been looking forward to seeing these, yet they still
exceeded my expectations!!!

That Pinnacle reminds me of something??
